1. PURPOSE
This sales policy applies to all transactions made with Rick’s Golf Cart, a company specializing in the sale of golf carts, personal mobility vehicles and spare parts for these vehicles. Our mission is to provide our individual, corporate and organizational customers with quality products and impeccable service.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
We offer three main product categories: Golf carts: motorized vehicles for golf courses, recreational or professional use. Personal mobility vehicles: adapted for people with specific mobility needs, with customizable options. Parts and accessories: wide range of spare parts and accessories to repair and maintain golf carts and personal mobility vehicles.
3. TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Ordering: Orders can be placed online through our website or in person at our store. A customer account is required for online purchases. Confirmation: Once your order has been received, we will send you a confirmation email containing a description of the products ordered, the prices, and the estimated delivery times. Availability: Products are subject to availability. If a product you ordered is out of stock, we will let you know right away and propose an alternative solution (replacement product, refund, etc.).
4. PAYMENT
Accepted payment methods: We accept payment by credit card, bank transfer and PayPal. In-store purchases can also be paid in cash. Deposit and financing: A 10% deposit is required on vehicles at the time of ordering, with the balance payable prior to delivery. We offer financing through external partners, subject to credit approval. Vehicle Reservation Deposit: To simplify the purchase of your recreational vehicle, you have the option to pay an initial 5% deposit. This non-refundable deposit guarantees the reservation of your vehicle. The remaining balance will be settled directly with Rick’s Golf Cart before delivery, according to a payment agreement to be determined. Please feel free to contact us to arrange terms that suit your needs. Taxes: Prices are subject to applicable taxes.
5. DELIVERY
Delivery times: Delivery times vary depending on the product and destination. All vehicles may be subject to a delay. Delivery fee: The delivery fee is based on weight, volume and distance. Depending on applicable promotions, delivery of certain items may be free. When purchasing a Golf Cart and/or Mobility Vehicle, the fees are calculated as follows: $100 + $3 per km from our location (these fees apply only to purchases; for other terms, see section no. 11). International delivery: We currently ship only within Canada. Tailgate (loading dock) and Forklift : To ensure efficient vehicle delivery, the dealer must have a loading dock or a forklift available at the time of reception. If such equipment is not available, an additional fee of $75 will be applied to cover unloading costs (tailgate service). This amount will be added to the delivery charges.
Battery: Individual battery purchases are available for in-store pickup only, with no delivery option. For any questions, feel free to contact us.
6. RETURNS AND REFUNDS
Return times: Products may be returned within 7 days of receipt; they must be their original condition with all accessories and packaging intact. Products returned within 7 days that are NOT defective will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Exclusions: Customized vehicles are not eligible for returns, except in the case of manufacturing defects. Return fee: The customer must pay the return fee, unless the product is defective or was sent in error. Refunds: Refunds are issued back to the customer’s original payment method within 7-14 business days.
7. WARRANTY
Golf carts and personal mobility vehicles: All our vehicles are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty that varies depending on the model. This warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not apply to normal wear and tear or damage resulting from misuse. New golf carts: 1-year full vehicle warranty, 2-year motor warranty; Mobility scooters (4-wheel, 3-wheel), electric scooters, and e-bikes: 6-month warranty on batteries and charger, 1-year warranty on the vehicle; Used golf carts: 90-day full warranty; Electric ATVs: 90-day full warranty; Gas-powered ATVs: 30-day full warranty.
Battery Warranty: Cart batteries are covered by a one-year warranty, while sealed mobility batteries come with a six-month warranty. This warranty applies only to manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by a broken casing, damaged lid or terminals, or issues resulting from freezing, overcharging, or sulfation.
Warranty Policy – In-Store Only: The warranty offered by Rick’s Golf Cart applies exclusively in-store. In the event of a manufacturing defect or an issue covered by the warranty, customers must visit our Léry location to claim it. Please note that we do not offer mobile repair services. All evaluations, repairs, or replacements under the warranty must be conducted on-site at the store.
8. AFTER-SALES SERVICE
Rick’s Golf Cart offers comprehensive after-sales service, including maintenance, repairs and replacement parts. Contact Customer Service for an appointment or to order replacement parts.
9. CLAIMS
Claims must be submitted in writing within 7 days of receipt of the product or discovery of the problem. We guarantee a response within 5 business days.
10. AMENDMENTS
Rick’s Golf Cart reserves the right to amend this policy at any time. Amendments will be published on our website and will apply to all new orders.
11. REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE
Rick’s Golf Cart does not offer home or on-road repair services. All repairs and maintenance must be carried out directly at our store. If you do not have a means of transportation to bring your vehicle (golf cart or mobility vehicle) to our location, we offer a pickup and delivery service, billed at a rate of $100 + $3 per kilometer from our store.
12. BATTERY CORE CHARGE
A core charge applies to battery purchases: $25 for golf cart batteries and $5 for all other battery types. This amount is refundable upon returning an old battery of the same size in-store. Please note that individual battery purchases are available for in-store pickup only, with no delivery option. For any questions, feel free to contact us.

APPLICABLE LAWS
These terms are governed by the laws of the province or state of Québec or the country of Canada, as applicable. Furthermore, any legal action against the Merchant must be brought before the judicial district in which the city of Léry is located.
